Children's Ministry

We currently offer children's ministry for Nursery, Pre-K, NovaKids (K-5th) during the Sunday service.

Nursery  (Newborn - Age 3)

  • Check in at the NovaKids tent then proceed directly to the Nursery East Room.
  • You can pick them back up from this classroom at the end of the service.

Pre-K  (Age 3 - 4)

Check-In

  • Parents will begin checking children in upon arrival. (It's best to come a little early for check in.)
  • NovaKids volunteers will check-in students under a children's ministry tent just off the main walkway.
If we don't already have it, we'll need your name and phone number as well as your child's name and grade level.
  • Bring your child over to the Pre-K East Room (by the Prayer Garden).

We are asking that all parents make sure their children have used the restroom prior to the start of the service in order to minimize the need for restroom usage during lesson time.

Lesson Time

  • The children will remain with their teachers from before the service until pickup time right after the service.
  • The children will be taught a lesson and will be able to participate in some crafts.

Pick-Up

  • After the service, you can pick your child up from the Pre-K East Room.

NovaKids  (K - 5th grade)

We look forward to the opportunity to teach your children about our great God and demonstrate His love for them. We also welcome any questions you may have. Thank you for your continued support and for giving our team the opportunity to speak truth into the life of your children. Of course, if you feel more comfortable keeping your children with you during the service, you are welcome to do so.

Meeting Teachers

  • Children will stay with their parents during the worship set and will be dismissed after the congregational prayer to meet their NovaKids leaders.
  • NovaKids leaders will walk the children to their classroom.

Lesson Time

  • Leaders will split children into two groups, by age. One leader will teach each group. We expect that each group will have between 6 and 12 children.
  • Children's Ministry leaders have evaluated and purchased a small group bible study curriculum which NovaKids leaders will use to teach a brief bible lesson and then guide students through accompanying activities.
  • If your child has a personal bible that they could bring to our lesson times, that would be excellent.
  • We expect lessons to last the duration of the sermon (about 25-35 minutes).

Pick-Up

  • Upon the conclusion of the service parents will proceed up the classroom (NovaKids East) to pick up their children.
