Welcome to Nova Community Church! We’re glad you’re here today. Please tell us a little about yourself by filling out the communication card and placing it in the offering. After the service stay for refreshments on the Plaza.

Parents, register your children on the Plaza before worship for NovaKids classes. Children leave worship during the offering music and meet their teachers in the foyer.

Refreshment schedule: Next week we will enjoy a special snack during Plaza Time refreshments.

A new season of Nova Small Groups have begun. Small groups are composed of 6-12 people who meet regularly to eat, share, pray, read God’s Word, and support each other. Contact Dave Martin for more information (davemartin@novachurch.org).

All current NovaKids volunteers and anyone who is interested in serving in Nova's ministry to elementary aged children are invited to attend a lunch training on Sunday, May 6, at 12:15 pm in the worship center. We will be going over our new summer curriculum. RSVP to Shannon Pitman (uscsmile13@hotmail.com) if you plan to attend. Hope to see you there!

Vacation Bible School registration has begun for children from age four through fifth grade. This year VBS will be held on

July 23-27 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a fun family day on Sunday, July 29. Space fills up quickly so don’t wait to sign up. Register online at novachurch.org.

On the weekend of April 27-29, Nova’s house-building team will take a pre-built house to Mexico and assemble it for an impoverished family. If you would like to give a donation or are interested in going, email novahousebuild@novachurch.org.

Partner with the outreach ministry at CSU Dominquez Hills by donating supplies to create care packages for students during their finals week. Visit the table on the plaza with more information on what to donate or contact Coral Taluban


Hume Lake high school camp is August 12-18. Students spend a week growing closer to one another, learning tons about God, and having a lot of fun. The cost is $560 per camper. Consider giving to what could be a life-changing experience for a high school student. Mark your gift “Hume Lake” and place it in the offering.

Junior Camp for kids going into grades 4-7 will be August 24-26 at Palomar Christian Conference Center. Activities will include zip-lining, a waterslide, gaga ball, archery, hiking, worship around a camp fire, and much more! It’ll be a great time of growing closer to God and each other.
