Open Campaign Update

Welcome to Nova Community Church! We’re glad you’re here today. Please tell us a little about yourself by filling out the blue communication card and placing it in the offering. After the service, stay for refreshments on the Plaza.

Parents, register your children on the Plaza before worship for NovaKids classes. Children leave worship during the offering music and meet their teachers in the foyer.

Refreshment schedule: Next week people with last names M-R are providing

Plaza Time refreshments, serving and cleaning up.

Come enjoy a piece of cake on the plaza as we celebrate Nova’s 8th anniversary.

There will be an interterm Nova class offered today at 11:15 a.m. in the Worship Center. See the back of the folder for information.

Join us tonight for Campfire Christmas at 6:00 p.m. Bundle up as we gather around a fire on the plaza for a time of Christmas worship with hot drinks and fellowship.

Colina de Luz Christmas outreach is Saturday, December 14-15. If you are interested in joining the team that will take Christmas gifts down to the children in Mexico, contact Raul Chipeco (chipeco@juno.com).

Nova’s Choir Christmas Program will be Sunday, December 15 at 6:00 p.m. It will be a great evening of music and celebrating our Savior. Invite your friends!

Nova’s Christmas Eve Service is Tuesday, December 24 at 6:00 p.m. Invite your family, friends and neighbors to our celebration of God’s greatest gift with carols, scripture, special music and candlelight.

We are excited about some new opportunities coming for women in 2020. Beginning in January on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m., women college age and above can connect and grow together through a new Women’s Bible study and also some evenings to craft together. The first craft night will be January 6. The Bible study begins the following week, January 13. For more information, contact Susan Welch (310-371-6295).

The prayer team is available after the worship service in the Fireside Room. You may also request prayer through email at Prayer@NovaChurch.org.

Nova’s Feeding the Hungry ministry serves meals to those in need on the second and fourth Fridays of every month.

To volunteer or donate, sign up on the plaza or contact Laurie Griffin (310-325-7458 or griffins1996@juno.com).

Nova’s Laundry Love team goes to a local laundromat from 2:45-5:00 p.m. monthly on the fourth Saturday and provides free laundry services to underserved people in our community. For information, contact Jaime Mancilla (jaimemancilla@ymail.com).
