Welcome to Nova Community Church! We’re glad you’re here today! Please tell us a little about yourself by filling out the communication card and placing it in the offering. After the service stay for refreshments on the Plaza.
Parents, register your children on the Plaza before worship for NovaKids classes.
Children leave worship during the offering music and meet their teachers in the foyer.

Nova’s Vacation Bible School is this week, July 23-27. We need lots of help setting up the rooms today. If you are able to grab some lunch and return to help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Next Sunday we will celebrate the conclusion of Vacation Bible School with a fun Family Day. During the worship service the children will sing several VBS songs. Afterward, a picnic lunch will be provided along with activities for kids.
Nova@TheBeach has begun and will meet every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. on the beach at Second Street in Hermosa throughout the month of July. Join other Nova people for swimming, fishing, and good conversations while watching the sunset. Bring a friend!
Nova's Annual Backyard Campout is Friday, August 3 to Saturday, August 4 on the Nova field. The cost is $5/person or $20/family. Whether you are planning on coming Friday for dinner and activities or staying overnight, please register on the plaza or contact Raul Chipeco (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Tami Chipeco is beginning a two year season of ministry with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Santa Ana College and would like to invite you to an informational gathering on August 5 at noon in the fireside room. Hume Lake high school camp is August 12-18. Students spend a week growing closer to one another, learning tons about God, and having a lot of fun. The cost is $560 per camper. Consider giving to what could be a life-changing experience for a high school student. Mark your gift “Hume Lake” and place it in the offering, give online or give through the Nova app.
Junior Camp for kids going into grades 4-7 will be August 24-26 at Palomar Christian Conference Center. Activities will include zip-lining, a waterslide, gaga ball, archery, hiking, worship around a camp fire, and much more! It’ll be a great time of growing closer to God and each other. Nova’s Laundry Love team goes to a local laundromat from 2:45-5:00 monthly on the fourth Saturday and provides free laundry services to underserved people in our community. For information contact Jaime Mancilla (email@example.com).
Nova’s Feeding the Hungry ministry serves meals to those in need on the second and fourth Fridays of every month.
