Love God. Love Others.
Welcome to Nova Community Church! We’re glad you’re here today. Please tell us a little about yourself by filling out the blue communication card and placing it in the offering. After the service, stay for refreshments on the Plaza.
Parents, register your children on the Plaza before worship for NovaKids classes. Children leave worship during the offering music and meet their teachers in the foyer.
Refreshment schedule: Next week people with last names S-Z are providing Plaza Time refreshments, serving and cleaning up.
Today Ashley Slight is being baptized and accepted into membership. We are also welcoming Adam Duchin, Shantel Duchin and Sadie Duchin into membership at Nova. Take time to congratulate them on the plaza after the service.
The winter quarter of Nova Small Groups begins this week. Nova small groups are communities of 8-14 people who meet regularly to share, pray, read God’s Word and care for each other in practical ways. Groups meet on different nights of the week in homes throughout the South Bay. If you would like to join a group, or are interested in hosting or leading a group, please contact Pastor Adam (310-371-1274 or email@example.com).
Hume Lake Summer Camp (June 30 - July 6) is open to Middle School and High School students. Visit
novachurch.org/ministries/camp to find out more. Contact Thomas today if you have students who are interested (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Save the date for Nova’s 2019 house-building project to build a home for a family in Mexico. Pre-building is on Saturday, February 2, in the Nova parking lot. Then, on February 15-17, we will take the frame to Mexico and assemble it for the family. For more information visit the table on the plaza or email Novahousebuild@gmail.com for information.
The prayer team is available after the worship service in the Fireside Room. You may also request prayer through email at Prayer@NovaChurch.org.
Nova’s Laundry Love team goes to a local laundromat from 2:45-5:00 p.m. monthly on the fourth Saturday and provides free laundry services to underserved people in our community. For information, contact Jaime Mancilla (email@example.com).
Nova’s Feeding the Hungry ministry serves meals to those in need on the second and fourth Fridays of every month.
