Welcome to Nova Community Church! We’re glad you’re here today. Please tell us a little about yourself by filling out the blue communication card and placing it in the offering. After the service, stay for refreshments on the Plaza.

Parents, register your children on the Plaza before worship for NovaKids classes. Children leave worship during the offering music and meet their teachers in the foyer.

Refreshment schedule: Next week people with last names S-Z are providing

Plaza Time refreshments, serving and cleaning up.

Join us today immediately after the worship service for a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the opening of our new prayer garden.

Save the date for Nova’s annual Falloween Fest! It will be the evening of Sunday, October 27 and will be filled with tons of fun for the whole family. There will be Trunk-or-Treating, games, an outdoor movie, and dinner provided. Please consider decorating your car that evening for the Trunk-or-Treat as the more cars we get, the better! Sign up to decorate your trunk and pass out candy today on the plaza. For more information call the church office.

Bless others this holiday season by participating in Operation Christmas Child. Send the Good News of Jesus and gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world. Pick up your shoebox today on the plaza and return it before November 10. For information contact Phyllis Jew (pjew25@gmail.com).

Save the date! The Colina de Luz Christmas outreach trip will be on December 14-15. Sign-ups begin on Sunday, November 10 on the plaza, to give a gift to a child or staff member. If you are interested in joining the team that will take Christmas gifts to children in Mexico, contact Raul Chipeco (chipeco@juno.com).

You are invited to Momentum South Bay's regular Service, today at 4:00 p.m. in Nova’s Worship Center. Momentum South Bay is the product of Nova's partnership in church planting with Church Planting Resident, Byron Jung. Momentum will be meeting every 1st and 3rd Sunday in the afternoon through the months of October through December 2019. For more information contact Byron Jung (goodby1@juno.com).

Daylight savings time ends Sunday, November 3. Remember to set your clocks back one hour.

The prayer team is available after the worship service in the Fireside Room. You may also request prayer through email at Prayer@NovaChurch.org.

Nova’s Feeding the Hungry ministry serves meals to those in need on the second and fourth Fridays of every month.

To volunteer or donate, sign up on the plaza or contact Laurie Griffin (310-325-7458 or griffins1996@juno.com).

Nova’s Laundry Love team goes to a local laundromat from 2:45-5:00 p.m. monthly on the fourth Saturday and provides free laundry services to underserved people in our community. For information, contact Jaime Mancilla (jaimemancilla@ymail.com).
